LaunchPad
Pulsar LaunchPad is designed for post-secondary students looking to network in the space industry. The LaunchPad will focus on all aspects of careers in the Space Industry. This program runs during the winter semester with a competition event at the end of the program.
FLARE
Future Leaders in Aerospace Research and Engineering (FLARE) is an exclusive, hands-on program for high school students in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) focused on spacecraft design, operations, and mission development. Selected through a competitive process, students will gain real-world experience by building nanosatellites and participating in an actual space launch campaign.
Summer Academy
Pulsar Summer Academy is an intensive summer program that offers space-specific STEM education, with small class sizes and hands on experience. This program would be a perfect fit for high school students from across Canada with an interest in space.
Pathway
Pulsar Pathway is an after-school program focused on preparing high school students for university STEM programs. The Pathway will cover a range of topics from space history to satellite design, with lab experience and small class sizes. Pathway runs for the full school year (September to June).
Online Academy
The Pulsar Online Academy is your go-to for innovative STEM education, with a focus on space and ocean sciences. Video resources, classroom guides, and at home activities will be available for free for Canadian educators and students. Materials developed in consultation with the CSA, ESA, and NASA.
